RP-TP46 Red Phosphorus Flame Retardant Paste

RP-TP46 is a halogen-free microencapsulated red phosphorus flame retardant paste formulated for polyurethane foams, rubber compounds, coatings and polymer composites. Its oil-based carrier system provides high stability, consistent viscosity and safe, dust-free handling. The fine particle size ensures uniform dispersion, strong flame-retardant efficiency and reliable char formation at low addition levels. RP-TP46 eliminates common powder-based issues such as dusting, phosphine release and sedimentation, making it ideal for liquid-processing environments.

Attributes

Key Features and Benefits

  • Non-dusting paste greatly improves operator safety and plant hygiene.
  • ≥40 percent microencapsulated red phosphorus ensures high flame-retardant efficiency.
  • Fine particle size (≤15 μm D50) delivers excellent dispersion and uniform performance.
  • Stable, non-stratifying paste prevents settling during storage.
  • Low white phosphorus content (≤0.005 percent) enhances storage stability and safety.
  • High viscosity stability (3,000–7,000 mPa·s) supports accurate and repeatable dosing.
  • Halogen-free formulation meets global sustainability and regulatory standards.
  • Compatible with PU foams, rubbers, epoxy, phenolic and coating systems.
  • Customizable particle size range (1500–2500 mesh) available on request.
