Flame Retardants

FRP-8050 Microencapsulated Red Phosphorus Flame Retardant Masterbatch

FRP-8050 is a microencapsulated red phosphorus flame retardant masterbatch designed for engineering polymers that require high flame-retardant efficiency, strong electrical insulation and halogen-free performance. It uses advanced microencapsulation and an imported compatibilizer carrier to deliver excellent dispersion, thermal stability and long-term mechanical integrity. At low addition levels of 8–10 percent, FRP-8050 achieves UL94 V-0 at 2.0 mm while maintaining smooth surface quality and a high CTI of 600 V. It is ideal for halogen-free wire and cable compounds, electrical components, automotive parts and industrial engineering plastics.

Attributes

Key Features and Benefits

• High phosphorus content (≥55 percent) provides strong halogen-free flame-retardant efficiency.
• Achieves UL94 V-0 at 2.0 mm with only 8–10 percent addition.
• High electrical insulation performance with CTI up to 600 V.
• Fine particle size (~2500 mesh) ensures uniform dispersion in polymer systems.
• Kindle temperature ≥360 °C supports high-temperature processing of engineering resins.
• Imported compatibilizer carrier improves adhesion, melt flow and mechanical stability.
• Halogen-free system compliant with RoHS, REACH and global eco-standards.
• Low moisture uptake and non-blooming performance for long-term stability.
• Clean processing behaviour with low die-build-up and consistent melt quality.
• Excellent compatibility with PA6, PA66, PBT, PET, PE, PP, EVA and TPE blends.
