Flame Retardants

PET-B-40C2 Halogen Free Flame Retardant Masterbatch

PET-B-40C2 is a halogen-free flame retardant white masterbatch formulated for high-temperature PET and PA applications. It uses a high-purity flame retardant system and a PET carrier to deliver stable, clean, and efficient flame retardancy in PET fibers, films, sheets, and engineering filaments. PET-B-40C2 maintains tensile strength, elongation, gloss, and surface quality while providing strong thermal resistance and consistent dispersion during high-speed melt processing.

Attributes

Key Features and Benefits

• High flame-retardant efficiency enables UL94 V-0 performance at low 12–16 percent loading.
• Halogen-free technology ensures low smoke, low toxicity, and environmental compliance.
• Thermal stability ≥300 °C supports PET and PA high-speed spinning and extrusion.
• White masterbatch with no blooming maintains clarity, gloss, and colour stability.
• Excellent dispersion reduces dusting, contamination, and filter blockage.
• Strong retention of tensile, elongation, and filament strength.
• PET carrier provides full compatibility with PET melts and reduces processing defects.
