Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Flame Retardants

ABS-XT-22M Bromine Antimony Flame Retardant Masterbatch for ABS

ABS-XT-22M is a bromine–antimony flame retardant masterbatch designed for ABS and ABS-based alloys. It uses a CPE carrier that supports clean processing, uniform dispersion, and consistent performance. At 20 to 22 percent loading, it enables ABS compounds to reach UL94 V-0 at 2 mm while maintaining mechanical balance and processing stability. Its pelletised, dust-free form improves handling and reduces contamination during blending and molding.

Attributes

Key Features and Benefits

  • Achieves UL94 V-0 at 2 mm with a 20–22 percent dosage for reliable flame performance.
  • Resists thermal decomposition up to ≥220 °C, supporting standard ABS molding conditions.
  • Fine dispersion ensures uniform flame retardancy across molded components.
  • Granular, dust-free form improves workplace cleanliness and prevents material loss.
  • Pellet structure supports accurate dosing and consistent feed behaviour.
  • Allows direct injection molding with no need for extra stabilisers or compatibilisers.
  • Maintains tensile, impact, and flexural properties within normal ABS tolerance ranges.
  • Reduces blending stages and processing time for cost-efficient production.
  • RoHS and REACH compliance ensures suitability for regulated and indoor applications.
